MAKING SHIT TOGETHER IS COOLER

‚Making Shit Together is Cooler‘ is part of an open call initiative by Wix Playground. Together with the designers Marie Malarme and Shiqian Pan I created a collaborative Instagram Account that works as monthly creative open-calls: Each month, we announce a new topic, and participants submit images to our dedicated image pool website. All images can be downloaded and work as a base for new designs. 

 

The goal of this project is to spark collective creativity amongst others and to create space to do more personal work.  

 

The identity of the Instagram Account is colorful, playful and inviting. It centers around a square format, reminiscent of the camera roll grid that plays a central role for participating in the project. The pixelated typeface ‚Mondwest‘ adds a touch of the 2000s aesthetic to create a sense of nostalgia and childhood playfulness. The center of attention are captivating balloon-like animations that should create a fun and welcoming feeling.
