BIOPLASTIC

Bioplastic is a sustainable textile surface that I created for my bachelor project ‚Can we still dream?‘ It’s a fully recyclable and organic material that only consists of natural ingredients, such as tapioca starch, vinegar, and glycerine. The color is created through logwood dye and lemon. Another positive effect is that can be remolded into new shapes through reheating it. I researched and finally created all of the bioplastic in my tiny room and kitchen during Berlin Lockdown in 2020.
